About Pet Goodbyes
The hardest part about having a pet is 'The Goodbye'.
Established in 2016, Pet Goodbyes with Veterinarian Dr Krystyna Hanlon is a personalised mobile service dedicated to compassionate in-home euthanasia of your dog or cat on the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, including Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay, Suffolk Park, Bangalow, Lennox Head, Ballina, Alstonville, Evans Head and Lismore.
You and your pet can spend your last moments together in the comfort and privacy of your own home, providing a peaceful, gentle farewell, free from stress and worry.
Pet Goodbyes can also assist in aftercare of the remains.
Dr Kryssy has been a small animal Veterinarian on the Far North Coast of NSW for the past 24 years. In 2010 she had the heartbreaking task of euthanizing her own beautiful old Boxer girl Wooki on the verandah of her home in the soft afternoon light. Wooki's last day was special - a beach walk, a tub of ice cream, lots of photos and lots of cuddles. We want you to experience the calm, peaceful, loving goodbye just as she did. You can view her tribute to Wooki, on YouTube here. In 2019, with the heaviest of hearts, Dr Kryssy also set free her 13 year old special-needs cat Stumpy.
Dr Kryssy and her husband are currently based in Broadwater NSW
with Indi-Annabones their second bodacious Boxer (RIP 12 May 2024)
and their two fine felines, Harry-Hanlon and Swervyn-Mervyn.
